Hey! So, I noticed that you are a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Being a college student, Greek life is everywhere and I've noticed that people say that black people can't wear certain things. For example, my friend wore an elephant necklace one day, and a guy that was apart of a Greek letter organization said that she should take it off. Does it really bother you if you see someone wear an elephant that isn't a part of your organization?
Absolutely not! And he needs to check himself. As long as she isn’t wearing my symbols, that’s all that matters. Elephants have different meanings for different people. It’s not exclusive of my organization. My cousin loves elephants. And she’s not a Delta. I don’t and wouldn’t tell her that she needs to throw away all of her elephants statues becuz it’s never that serious, haha.
