No, I never straighten it. But u can. I just twist or bantu knot it at night just like I do my real hair and then rock it out during the day. And I use Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie or Curl & Style Milk on it.

I have an obsession with washing my hair and scalp so I personally can’t keep a weave in for longer than 6 weeks. I NEED to be able to get up in there and shampoo! But some people keep their’s in for 2-3 months. Make sure u get a weaving net! After u cornrow ur hair, lay it flat and sew the net onto the perimeter of the cornrows. No, if I had, to, I would have. But I’m lazy. All I did was cut the bangs and style it. My linesister usually sews them in, I cut and style them. Cheap-o-la, lol! All I pay for is the hair. No hairdresser fees. We do each other’s hair. Free.99 boo, lol.
